{HTS} - Hard to see, gory/medical photos
First and foremost, welcome to our forum! We are a group of people with a large love for animals, particularly of the spiky variety. We strive to provide the most up to date, accurate information as possible in regards to hedgehogs. That being said, we need to get into the not so fun stuff: The rules.
1. Educate, don't harass.
This is probably one of the most difficult rules to follow all the way through, because there is a fine line between educating and harassing sometimes. A general rule: If an administrator or experienced owner has provided someone with advice or aide there is no reason to repeat the same thing a dozen times. We are all passionate about our animals, but please be respectful even when something upsets you. We want to educate people when they have something wrong, not chase them away.
2. Stay on topic.
As you have probably noticed, the forum is divided into individual categories. Keep your posts in the right area. This will keep the forum more streamlined and easier to navigate.
3. Posts with gory or gruesome imagery should have a warning in the title.
LABEL WITH A {HTS} (Hard To See)tag. Some people aren't good with gore.
4. We are not a replacement for veterinary care.
If your hedgehog is bleeding severely, suffering with broken bones, or generally just looking to be in bad shape, please don't wait on one of our members to respond to your post. We can give you advice but we can't save your pet through the computer screen. Use your discretion when asking for assistance that could be better given by a professional animal doctor.
5. We are not responsible for any other Etsy account other than Lilith's Loops.
We do our best to make sure any shops that stay posted are legitimate and safe, but we do not control what happens with any other company, Etsy, Ecommerce or otherwise. We do not control their wait times, product durability, or complaints.
6. Other animal conversations excluding hedgehogs are also welcome here!
Just be sure to stick to the appropriate boards!
7. Reporting those who break the rules will make the site a nicer place.
If you see it happening, report it. Every profile on this site contains a "report" button which will directly PM a staff member. Include links to inappropriate content. Depending on the severity of the issue the offender may be warned or suspended from the site.
