Present day. Duluth, USA. A world of supernaturals and you're either one of them or a human. Where that takes you depends on if you hunker in the dark like a dhampir, lurk in wait for danger like a hunter, or chase power as a witch. You could be the elusive psion, a psychic vampire, or the stuff of nightmares, a vampire werewolf combination-- a hybrid. Or perhaps you are a wendigo, always famished. Or a werebeast, content in their corner of the world while slaves to the beast pulled by the full moon. You could die and be reborn from your ashes like a phoenix, or alternatively be a regular vampire, on the hunt in the streets.
But your largest enemy might just be the dark danger that announces its coming in a noise repeating thrice in threes. Death has come. And Duluth has become a beacon for all supernaturals, some of which want to harness this power, some helplessly drawn.
